I understand the Skirmish rules are designed to be streamlined for ease of play, but I think they would benefit by the inclusion of movement rules however simplified.  The benefit of some units, e.g. cavalry, lies entirely with their mobility advantage.  Even very simple move rules could add different unit types with expanded tactical options.

@von-fuge, If you needed to resolve unit movement, you would simply use the normal movement rules. I general, however, I would not do so... It is not intended to be a tactical simulation. And, turns are abstract. If it mattered and both cavalry and units on foot were moving around, I would just have the cavalry move twice as far. For example, if a unit of cavalry and a unit of foot soldiers charge the same enemy unit, the cavalry engages on the first turn and the foot soldiers on the second turn.
