09.19: While on watch, Fenris receives a proximity alert and distress beacon from a Plutonian cutter adrift in the black. The Rakshasa investigates dispatching Ransom, Horkos, and Fenris in the scalpel. They dock with the cutter and board the seemingly empty vessel. Ransom adeptly repairs a misfiring thruster while Fenris and Horkos secure the cutter. Reaching the bridge, Ransom brings the systems online triggering the vessels self-destruct. Ordering the others back to the scalpel, Ransom tries to hack the system to disable the self-destruct. When Fenris reaches the airlock, he finds it sealed and locked. With Halo’s guidance, the dog soldier pries off the control panel and bypasses the locking mechanism reaching the cutter. Just in time, Ransom disables the self-destruct and overrides the cutter’s security protocols. With the ship secure, the trio returns to the scalpel only to find that the Rakshasa is pulling away activating the particle impulse engines. Ransom pursues and the yacht opens fire on the scalpel. Avoiding fire, the scalpel is able to re-dock in the SVN. Locked out of his own ship, Ransom bypasses the airlock control panel and they enter the Rakshasa only to find it under the control of the Black Flag led by a Red Sister. Ransom and Fenris shoot down the mercenaries on the upper balcony of the gallery while Horkos confronts the Red Sister cutting her down. Fenris secures two badly wounded mercenaries while Ransom makes for the engine room and Horkos hunts for the princess. In the engine room, Ransom finds a stricken Eto and a sidhe hacker, Caelix, who is in control of the ship until he drops a suppression grenade on her. Meanwhile, Horkos murders a pair of Black Flag guarding the princess and her handmaiden freeing them. Sensing them, impossibly swift, he then catches the Solarian killer, Jabarri, as he tries to escape with his prize, Vega Vonn. The reckoner splits his skull and the Rakshasa is won back.
