Day 37: Never and Nai, with Whitechapel trailing behind, find and investigate the chitin’s lair. In a strange cave, they find egg clutches and what seems to be a rupture in the fabric between realms oozing and virulent. They gun down the chitin queen and two remaining soldiers. After harvesting spirit crystals, they use the Melta-Ray to cleanse the cave.

Day 38: With the eclipse approaching, Never and Nai begin constructing a shelter while Whitechapel hunts. The elf downs a doe and returns with its bloodless carcass.

Day 47: Whitechapel, Never, and Nai reach Fortune’s Bluff. Sipher favors them at the Lucky Star Saloon.
